Hey, I'm Nai! I'm 18 and live in the dear old southeast USA, about to go to college for the culinary arts. I love the arts (culinary, theatre and visual in particular) and can be expected to geek about that in a few bloggings.

Favorite shows: Doctor Who, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Sanctuary, Sherlock, Lie to Me, Glee, House, Raising Hope, and several others that don't come to mind immediately.

Favorite actors: Meryl Streep, Matt Smith, Amanda Tapping, Jim Carrey, Emily Browning, David Tennant, Catherine Tate, Freema Agyeman, Anne Hathaway, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Selena Gomez.

Not a lot of my followers know this, but back in March I was savagely beaten by my mother, who I was staying with at the time, and removed from my own home after she was released on bail due to the fact a minor child (my sister) was involved. I…

Syfy Sets Sanctuary Return Date

lizznotliz:

Syfy has announced an Oct. 7 premiere date for Season 4 of Sanctuary, and to hear the cabler’s press release tell it, the 13 new episodes will “change everything.” But how, you ask? “With the arrival of the Hollow Earth refugees, the balance between Abnormals and humans is severely upset,” reads the Season 4 previewlet. “In order to keep the peace, Magnus and team must throw out the rulebook. But forging their own way means they’re not just dodging dangerous Abnormals anymore, now they’ve got world governments and new villains nipping at their heels.”

October 7 is a Friday.

You know what would be nice? Someone from the west coast who actually knows about everything re: earthquakes sitting someone from the east coast down and gently telling them not to freak out.

Instead of, you know, belitting them left and right. Just a thought. Most people respond better to hey, don’t freak out, 5.9 doesn’t mean much, it’s still okay than OH MY GOD YOU FUCKING PUSSY CALL ME BACK WHEN YOU CAN ACTUALLY FEEL IT.

And fyi: I wasn’t even in the radius of the earthquake (FL) but scrolling down my Dash and seeing all the hate for all east coasters is getting ridiculous and hurtful.
